Thursday, October 5, the Verkhovna Rada adopted the bill on the principles of ensuring cyber security of Ukraine in the repeated second reading as amended.

According to the document, the coordination of activities in the field of cybersecurity as part of national security of Ukraine, will implement the President of Ukraine headed the Council of national security and defense.
The law gives the definition of the terms: cyber security, cyber attack, cyber terrorism, cyber defence, cyber defense, critical infrastructure, Kibernetika.
The document also spelled out a list of enterprises, institutions and organizations that can be classified as critical infrastructure.
