In Kiev broke the racist scandal — the driver of a minibus has refused to carry a black teenager on the identity of the beneficiaries and questioned his Ukrainian citizenship.
In any case, so says his mother, Galina UGA. She appealed to the city authorities with a statement of gross violation of their rights, but received no response.
Galina from Kiev Uzu complained to the Network on the driver 178 of the bus (going from metro station “Levoberezhnaya” to the metro station “Borispol”). “Together with her husband and 14-year-old son Justin got into a minibus. But the driver tried to deny my child a reduced fare on the identity of a child from a family on the grounds that, in his opinion, he is not a citizen of Ukraine. Next came the verbal insults in our address and the accusations that the documents are fake”, — told the “news” Galina.
According to her, she filed a document, which pasted her and husband pictures that is issued per family, and also separate identity of Justin. “I paid for your husband, and for herself and the child do not consider it necessary to pay because I have this privilege, — Galina continues. — But the driver yelled that knows the laws and let us carries, the one who gave these documents. Said: “Look at yourself, can there be such citizens of Ukraine?”
The husband of Galina, singer Harrison from the UGA group “Chernobrivtsy”, which is 25 years old lives in Ukraine, tried to smooth the conflict, but the driver was tuned very aggressively.
“When I arrived, I asked the driver to apologize for the insults, but he didn’t do it. I and my children will continue to use this route. Don’t want that happen again”, — says Galina.
“News” talked with the driver of the bus Vitaly Lutsyuk, who says that the child was not, and the conflict broke out because of non-payment for Harrison. “There were only two, the child was not. The state provides a reduced fare only to citizens of Ukraine. What is he a citizen? He didn’t even have a passport and the identity I had not considered. The woman was inadequate. For one paid, and I took no money. I’m a man with higher education, he taught at the driving school, know the laws. On the second day, there was a complaint, and I wrote the manual an explanatory note, as it was”, — told us Lutsyuk.
