Qatar responded to the demands put forward by the Arab countries

Qatar is considering a list of demands submitted by four Arab States which have declared a boycott of the country.

Qatar is considering the list of requirements submitted by four Arab States which have declared a boycott of the country, but believes that the list “is not reasonable or possible”. This was stated by Shaykh Saif al-Thani, Director of the government office of the government of Qatar.

“We consider these demands out of respect for… regional security and will be the official response of our Ministry of foreign Affairs,” he said.

We will remind, the representatives of Kuwait in the night of Friday, June 23, gave Qatar a number of requirements from Arab countries. 13-point demands include, among other things, that Qatar must cease all ties with the “Muslim brotherhood”, “al-Qaeda”, “ISIS”, Hezbollah and other radical groups and stop the financing of terrorist organizations. Also you need to close the English channel “al Jazeera” and to pay compensation.

As reported, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Libya, Egypt and Yemen broke off diplomatic relations with Qatar on 5 June. Then they were joined by five Arab States, they accused Qatar of meddling in the internal Affairs of other countries, as well as sponsoring terrorists. The government of Qatar has denied the charges and called the isolation from the Arab countries an affront to sovereignty.Go to the Main page
