The Ministry of foreign Affairs of Qatar, said the country’s Ambassador will return to Tehran after it had been removed 20 months ago.

The Qatari foreign Ministry expressed “a desire to strengthen bilateral relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran in all areas” and said that the Minister of foreign Affairs of Qatar Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman al-Thani discussed “bilateral relations and means of their activation and development” with his Iranian counterpart Mohammad Javad Zarif.
Qatar and Iran are jointly developing a major natural gas fields in the sea, it requires communication between the two countries.
