Indicators of trust and approval of President Vladimir Putin after his second address to the citizens of Russia in connection with the situation of coronavirus has increased to 74% and 72%, respectively. Such data are contained in a poll by the Russian center for public opinion studies (VTSIOM) published on Friday on the website of the centre.

“2 April 2020 Vladimir Putin turned again to the citizens of Russia in connection with the situation around the pandemic coronavirus. The approval rate of the President’s activity in this day increased in comparison with the values of last week and was 72%. The level of confidence also increased to 74%”, – stated in the material.

From 23 to 29 March, the approval rate of the President’s performance on the average was 65.7%. To the question about trust to Putin responded positively, 71.1% of the respondents.

The initiative Russian opinion “polls-Satellite” conducted among 1600 Russians at the age from 18 years through telephone interviews. For a given sample size the maximum error with 95% probability does not exceed 1%.
