Russian President Vladimir Putin announced plans to “fully restore” relations with the United States.
According to Putin, he hopes that the visit Pompeo in Russia “will benefit our bilateral relations”.
“We have repeatedly said that I would also like to restore relations in full format. I hope that now by creating the necessary conditions”,- said Putin.
Press Secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov said that Putin intends to discuss with Pompeo the situation around Iran, Syria, Venezuela and North Korea, as well as issues of bilateral relations and strategic stability.
