In the next few years Russia will not return the annexed Peninsula, but will try to “push” the occupied territory of Donbass back to Ukraine.
This opinion was expressed by Russian political scientist Dmitry Oreshkin in his article on “Explorer”.

According to Dmitry Oreshkin, the Kremlin is working to abandon the Donbas, but so that it was possible “to keep the triumphant expression on her face.”
