“Putin stole Sakhalin” witty jokes about the disappearance of the island with cards

Users have found another reason for banter of humor.

While North Korea continues to irritate the world with its missile tests, netizens ridiculed the mysterious disappearance of the “Yandex.cards” Sakhalin island after today’s launch of a ballistic missile.

Note that after the North Koreans launch rocket, the service “Yandex.Map” no longer reflect the Sakhalin island.

The island appears on the map at the maximum distance (3000 km), disappears when you increase the map (scale of 1000 km, 600 km and 200 km) and appears again with a further approximation.

Note that later became known about the cause of the disappearance of the island from the maps. So, in comments to RBC employee of the press service of “Yandex” Dmitry Gorchakov explained all technical failure.

“Today, in the next update there was a technical glitch because of which Sakhalin was not displayed on the part of the scale. We already fixed it and soon the return of Sakhalin and in the mobile and web version of the service”, – he said.
