Putin revealed his alias to intelligence

Putin noted that now the use of pseudonyms for him – “this is ridiculous”.

Russian President Vladimir Putin said that in the intelligence school, he was the pseudonym Platov.

He shared it during a meeting with students of the educational center “Sirius” in Sochi.

“As for nicknames – it’s an alias. I, as you know, began his work in foreign intelligence, I used sometimes out of necessity technological pseudonyms. To intelligence I learned when I had the alias Platov” he said.

At the same time, Putin noted that now the use of pseudonyms for him – “this is ridiculous”.

“No nick, I, of course, afford to choose would not just be under his own name. It is normal for everyone, something to hide behind any aliases?” the Russian Prime Minister noted.

According to him, to hide behind aliases was appropriate while working in intelligence. However, now the opposite is true.

“If a person is doing something worthy and interesting than he can be proud of, on the contrary it is necessary to tell to whom it belongs”, – said Putin.
