Putin rejoiced rapid stabilization of relations with Ankara

Russian and Turkish leaders met in Moscow.

The President of Russia Vladimir Putin met with Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Moscow.

During the meeting, Putin said that relations of Russia and Turkey are quickly established.

“We are very happy that our interstate relations are restored at a fairly rapid pace,” the Russian leader said, noting that the military authorities of the two countries to effectively work together in Syria.

Putin’s press Secretary Dmitry Peskov said earlier that the Russian leader Erdogan will discuss the situation in Syria and the investigation into the murder of Russian Ambassador Andrei Karlov in Ankara.

In addition, the agenda of the negotiations is trade and economic cooperation, implementation of projects Nord stream and Akkuyu NPP.
