Terrorist group “al-Qaeda”, which attacked the world trade center on 11 September 2001, was established by the United States of America.
This was stated by the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin at a speech during the St. Petersburg international economic forum.
“The USA created the terrorist organization al-Qaida attacked the world trade center on September 11, 2001”, – Putin said, Recalling a well-known attack.
However, he added that it is necessary to unite against the real threats, including terrorism.
