Putin made a loud statement about the war in Syria

The Russian President announced the conditions for ending the war in Syria.

For the ceasefire in Syria is necessary to create a security zone.

This at a press conference in Sochi after talks with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said the President of Russia Vladimir Putin.

“Mr President (Erdogan. – Ed.) we presume, I have said that to solve the Syrian crisis exclusively through political means, but in order for the political process develops, you need to ensure that the cease-fire. Russia, Turkey, Iran as countries that made the greatest contribution in this formula and in the practice of the cessation of hostilities, all the while thinking on how to consolidate the ceasefire… One of the ways to consolidate the ceasefire is to create security zones or zones of de-escalation”, – said Putin.

According to him, this issue was also discussed during a telephone conversation with U.S. President Donald trump.

“Previously, Russia has held consultations with Damascus and Tehran. We all believe that we need to create mechanisms that would guarantee an end to the bloodshed, and would create conditions for a political dialogue”, – said the President of the Russian Federation.

Putin said that the aviation security zone will be banned.

“Assuming that these areas will not be observed any military activity. But it’s all so subtle, and professional issues. Our Ministry of defense, special services are in contact with each other and develop the whole order,” he said.

At the same time, the Russian President noted that the fight against terrorists in Syria will continue, despite the creation of “security zones”.

“As for the terrorists, despite the establishment of these zones, the fight against terrorism will continue with organizations such as ISIL, “Dzhebhat-EN-Nusra” and their ilk, with everyone who is included in the list of terrorist organizations, approved by the UN. We will continue to fight with them”, – said Putin.

Note, the Russian side proposes to establish in Syria, the four “security zones”: in Idlib province, to the North of the city of HOMS, Eastern ghouta and in the South of the country.
