Russian President Vladimir Putin said he will hold the first direct talks with the leaders of the so-called “LNR” and “DNR” about the proposal on the exchange of prisoners.
About Putin said during a meeting with the representative of Ukraine in the humanitarian sub-group of the Trilateral contact group Viktor Medvedchuk, fragments of which showed the TV channel Russia-24.
According to Medvedchuk, Ukraine is ready in the exchange of prisoners to free 306 people and expects to release 74.
He also added that the exchange could be done before Christmas and new year holidays.
