The corresponding picture was published on the official website of the President of the Russian Federation together with other photos taken during the trip of the first persons of Russia in the Arctic archipelago.
So, when Vladimir Putin and Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev visited the base “omega” of the national Park “Russian Arctic” on the island Alexandra Land, they were captured near the map of the Russian Federation.
It is noteworthy that the state borders are not included annexed the Crimean Peninsula.
