Fighters of national guard for the first time parachuted from the plane.
Units of the National guard of Ukraine performed the first jumps from the aircraft An-26 with a height of 800 and 1500 meters.
This reports the press service of the NSU.
It is noted that for landing, which took place near Kiev, units of special forces of the NSU to provide specialized training in order to fulfil the element of landing the plane.
“Characteristics of landing aircraft are that they can carry personnel over long distances and landing can be carried out with great heights,” explained Lieutenant-Colonel Yaroslav Kravets.
The soldiers landed on the pad right in order to be ready to perform tactical tasks.
“For parachute landing is an important step, the first jump from the plane. Today is a great day for the National guard of Ukraine. I was waiting for this time… During the years of independent Ukraine is the first jump from the plane”, – shared his impressions of the national guardsman.
Such jumps allow the military special purpose NSU jump in difficult weather conditions and to quickly bring personnel to perform combat missions as required. Landing can be carried out with weapons, and cargo containers, and requires personnel concerted action and high training.
The command of the National guard assured that will continue to carry out training jumps from planes of various types.
