The official debut of the McLaren 570S Spіder will be held on 29 June at the festival of speed at Goodwood.
British car company McLaren has unveiled the Roadster 570S before the official premiere at the Festival of speed at Goodwood.
Open version of the coupe McLaren 570S was the third in the line of Sports Series that includes a compact sports car, according to a press release. At the core of the Roadster is carbon fiber monocoque with a rigid roof. Two panels fold up in 15 seconds at speeds up to 40 km/h. It is worth noting that engineers have made every effort to make the car as light as possible. So, the Roadster only 46 kg heavier.
The interior of the sports car is equipped with seats made of nappa leather and Alcantara in different colors for customer’s choice. Among the decorative elements of carbon fiber and aluminum. The heart of the Roadster was the 3.8-liter V8 with output of 570 HP, which on the original coupe. Despite the presence of the folding roof, the acceleration from zero to hundred has remained unchanged – 3.2 seconds. Also, the maximum speed of the Roadster coupe is equal to the top speed – 328 km/h. However with the roof speed drops to 315 km/h.
