Protests in Tbilisi began to disperse with water cannons

Georgian special forces began to use force to disperse the protesters outside the Parliament building in Tbilisi.

As informs TV channel “Rustavi 2”, the demonstrators have active resistance and the security forces resorting to water cannons, special equipment and batons.

“Water cannon several times to let the jets of water. This caused irritation with the protesters. Riot is still trying to accelerate. The protesters asked the police not to use force,” — said on television.

In addition to the 15 already arrived buses of special forces, to the Parliament building massing reinforcements from the Rustaveli Avenue.

The law enforcers warned the picketers about the crackdown and call to disperse. On victims and arrests have not yet been reported.

Previously at the building of Georgian Parliament in Tbilisi began a crackdown of demonstrators advocating for early elections. Arrived at the scene about a half dozen yellow buses with employees of special forces, and brigade patrol police. The opposition for the second day covers the approaches to the National Assembly building, demanding early elections.
