Protection of the former President Viktor Yanukovych decided to apply to the European court of human rights regarding the case of his correspondence with the court.
About it reported in a press-service of the law Aver Lex representing the interests of Yanukovych.
“We appeal to the European court of human rights on charges of treason – we have obtained is sufficient and undisputable reasons for this. Today, we received the final base, which was the denial of Appellate court of Kiev to ensure the constitutional right of Viktor Yanukovych to appeal the decision of the court of first instance”, – said Serdyuk.
According to him, it is about the decision of the Pechersk district court regarding in absentia proceedings.
He also noted that the decision of the court of Appeal will be allowed “as the main evidence of political pressure on the judicial system in Ukraine”.
