Russian propagandists have launched a new fake about alleged Ukrainian prisoners of war who refused to exchange and remained in the so-called Donetsk people’s Republic (“DNR”).

So, in the story of the Russian “First channel”, filmed in colonies occupied Makeevka, one of the prisoners, allegedly a former Ukrainian soldier of the 56-th separate mechanized brigade Alexander Tuhtenko said the refusal to leave the “DND” and his decision to stay there to live and work as a mechanic.

“Work here a lot… it is better… I am a mother just put on notice that remain in the “DNR”, – said the man.

It is noted that at the same time, according to the media the terrorists, prisoners who refused to leave the “DNR”, was not a man with the last name Totenko and a woman.

This information was confirmed by Deputy Prosecutor General of Ukraine Anzhela Strizhevskaya.

“Of those we took from the uncontrolled territories, one woman refused to return to Ukraine-controlled territory, said that is Pro-Ukrainian position, but the family is in Donetsk, so it is”, she said.

Also in the story of Russian propaganda shows yet another alleged ex-ATU fighter, who agreed to return to Ukraine on the exchange, but “to fight for Poroshenko does not intend”.

Presents the man as a “former sniper sabotage-reconnaissance group of the battalion “Aidar” Alexander Aisin. However, the lists transferred to Ukraine hostage with that name does not appear.

It is clarified that the author of the story is Julia Chumakova – the same journalist who previously created a scandalous story about the “crucified boy” in Slavyansk.
