Influential British functionary Eddie Hearn, who oversees the Affairs of the world champion under versions IBF, WBA and IBO heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua has made a new statement on alleged rematch with Wladimir Klitschko.
Hearn still believes that the decision Klitschko will affect the financial factor .A rematch with Joshua promises Ukrainian veteran record fee in his career. Besides, the first fight showed that Klitschko is able to stop the British champion.
“Perhaps we can find somewhere for two weeks from the team Klitschko is our final offer and outlining existing opportunities. Interest in the battle is huge – there are proposals from Nigeria, China, Las Vegas. It should be a place that will interest both fighters.
If I call Klitschko and urge him to fight arena “Coper Box” for a couple of million quid, he obviously refuse to fight and leave Boxing. But if I tell him that we can fight in the arena “MGM Grand” in Las Vegas, and he will earn more than last time, I am sure that he will agree to the fight.
We need something special, and this takes time. But my inner feeling tells me that this fight will take place,” said Hearn in an interview, “GQ Magazine”.
The first fight between Wladimir Klitschko and Anthony Joshua took place on 29 April at Wembley. Megafit was at 100% in combat with the mutual knockdowns stronger was Joshua who stopped Klitschko by technical knockout in the 11th round.
