The transaction amount was not disclosed.
The deal for Prominvestbank which is a “daughter” of VEB, is expected to close before July 1, 2017. This was reported to journalists by the head of state Corporation Sergey Gorkov.
“I hope that before the end of June it is possible that the transaction will be closed. Until July 1, can be realistic, but it depends not only on us but also on the position of the NBU and from many other circumstances. Expect that by 1 July we have reason to close it,” said Gorkov on the sidelines of the International economic summit KazanSummit.
However, he declined to comment on the discussed amount of the transaction.
According to him, currently buying Prominvestbank interested in two candidates, international investors among them.
