In PrivatBank told about the Scam with the “block card”.
PrivatBank recommends its users not to respond to the message about the alleged freezing of their accounts from any phone number, except for the 3700. This is stated in the statement on the website of the Bank.
The security service of the Bank said that in recent days, cases of fraudulent emails to subscribers of one of Ukrainian mobile operators SMS to private mobile numbers on the alleged blocking of the customer card. In the text of such messages the fraudsters offered to inform on unknown numbers in order to obtain personal customers.
Bank employees managed to block the Scam numbers and provided information to the police. According to preliminary data, fraudulent mailing was carried out by hackers from Zaporozhye.
