According to the President, 100% demand on the exchange of prisoners did not want to go back.
Sought-after Pro-Russian separatists exchange prisoners in Ukraine refused to return the territory LNR/DND even if the release from prison on the uncontrolled territory.
This was stated by President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.
“I think this is important information. 100% of those who gave Ukraine the opportunity to check the verification about the desire to return to the occupied Donetsk and Luhansk, confirmed his reluctance,” – said Poroshenko.
The President stressed that these people preferred to stay in places of detention controlled by Ukrainian government of the territory, than to go to the occupied areas.
This Poroshenko noted that the continuous change of position of the Russian side indicates reluctance to release Ukrainian hostages.
