The Prime Minister of Serbia Alexander Vucic wins the election for President of Serbia with a score of 58%, the exit poll data.
In second place is former Ombudsman of Serbia, a lawyer by training, Sasha Jankovic with 14%.
These data were obtained after processing almost 40% of the ballots.
Notably, the results of the exit poll will be updated as new information from the polling stations.
Only participate in elections 11 candidates. To win in the first round you must score more than half of the votes. Otherwise, after two weeks, the second round involving the two most popular candidates.
The President of Serbia is elected for a term of five years. The current President Tomislav Nikolic eligible for a second mandate, is not involved in the elections due to the loss of support for the ruling Serbian progressive party.
