Prime Minister of Japan was in the center of the scandal

The head of government was associated with the organization who bought land at a lower price.

In Japan there was a scandal around Prime Minister Shinzo Abe due to the purchase organization “Moritomo Gakuen” of land for a private school at a lower price.

Abe denies any involvement in the deal, including his wife Akie Abe, who was to become the honorary Director of the school.

The reason for the scandal was a plot with an area of 8770 sq. m in the town of Toyonaka in Osaka Prefecture, where “Moritomo Gakuen” in April was going to open a private elementary school. Its estimated value was approximately 956 million yen ($8.37 million), however, the organization acquired it seven times cheaper, in just 134 million yen ($1.18 million).

The first area, the organization has rented for 10 years, but later under the earth was found to have severe pollution, the elimination of which would require at least 800 million yen ($7 million). On this basis, it was the discount, this “Moritomo Gakuen” undertook to clean up.

The reason for the accusations in the address of the Prime Minister became his possible ties with the “Moritomo Gakuen”. Its leader Yasunori, Cahokia is a member of the nationalist society “Nippon kaigi”, which supports Abe. In addition, the spouse of the head of the government Akie Abe was to become an honorary Director of the school, from which refused, when surfaced the details of the transaction.

The Prime Minister also denies that he or his wife could have any connection to the controversial deal for the sale of state land at a reduced price.
