Moldova needs to move to a presidential form of government, the President of the state Igor Dodon.
The President of Moldova Igor Dodon requires early parliamentary elections, stating that the current Parliament “usurping power”. This is stated in the statement of Dodona on Wednesday, October 18.
According to the Pro-Russian President, “the Pro-European opposition is doing everything possible to discredit and to limit the actions of the” Dodon.
The reason for this statement he calls the abolition of the Republican consultative referendum on 24 September 2017 and the suspension of his authority to assign defense Minister.
“For Moldova, there is no other solution than early parliamentary elections and a speedy transition to a presidential form of government”, – said Igor Dodon.
