Meizu has presented one of the most anticipated smartphones this spring.
The company Meizu presented one of the most anticipated smartphones of spring in the budget segment. On the background of competitors Meizu M5s released in the first metal housing and support fast charging.
Presentation in Beijing gathered fans of Meizu brand around the world. Before the presentation they were in unison countdown of minutes remaining before the official announcement of the model, which promises to be one of the bestsellers in the market.
During the presentation the main role on stage was playing a Chinese comedian, shutevski about how uncomfortable it is to charge modern smartphones, which quickly lose their charge with heavy use.
This emphasis is not surprising. Meizu M5s supports the function of fast charging (18W), thanks to which the smartphone can charge from 0% to 50% in just 30 min.
The second distinguishing feature of Meizu M5s is slightly curved metal housing with a thickness of 8.4 mm. Many competing devices in this price segment made of plastic.
From other characteristics worth noting the 5.2-inch screen with HD resolution and IPS-matrix. The screen is covered with protective glass with a 2.5 D effect.
It has 8-core MediaTek processor, 3 GB of RAM and a built-in hard drive volume 16 or 32 GB depending on version.
There is a slot for two SIM cards or one SIM card and one MicroSD card capacity up to 128 GB. The main camera has a 13-megapixel module and led flash, there is also a front facing 5-megapixel camera.
As in other devices of the company, Meizu M5s below the screen is an oval Home button that supports gestures. She also acts as the fingerprint scanner.
Meizu M5s running Android 6.0 with a proprietary shell Flyme.
Will be available in four trims Meizu M5s in silver, gray, gold and pink-gold colors.
In Ukraine Meizu M5s will appear March 10. The estimated cost of the basic version Meizu M5s in the network Citrus will amount to UAH 3899.
During the presentation it was said that the main competitors Meizu M5s are such popular models as Samsung and Xiaomi Redmi J 4. In contrast, Meizu M5s supports fast charging, this could be the main asset of the model.
The earlier model in this class Meizu M5 has been extremely popular, including in Ukraine. The novelty is in the same price category, in addition got a metal body, fingerprint scanner and fast charging.
