Samsung officially introduced a new smartphone Galaxy Xcover 4, endowed with a robust housing. It is the successor to the Samsung Galaxy Xcover third generation, released two years ago, and from her he inherited not the most advanced specifications, although the OS is still updated.
Samsung Galaxy Xcover 4 costs 260 Euro and comes preloaded with Google Android 7 Nougat with shell TouchWiz. Inside it has only 2 GB RAM and 16 GB ROM, and its touch screen keeps HD resolution or 1280×720 pixels at a standard diagonal of 5 inches. The smartphone runs on a certain unnamed processor with a frequency of 1.4 GHz for the four cores and is fully compliant with the standard MIL STD 810G, which means it immunity to such external factors as water, dust and falls.
Part of Samsung Galaxy Xcover 4 includes a camera to 13 MP rear and 5 MP on the touch screen, plus there is the LTE module and a standard battery with capacity of 2800 mAh. Despite the presence of the reinforced body, the phone weighs just 172 grams, so the result was interesting relatively compact thing with a very large margin of safety. The start of sales of Samsung Galaxy Xcover 4 will take place before the end of the first half of this year, but it is unknown in which countries.
