This summer, the famous game designer American McGee has addressed to fans with the request not to get his questions about the third part of “Alice”. Games based on the works of Lewis Carroll at the time were huge hits and are considered the hallmark of its Creator. American McGee’s Alice came out in 2000, the sequel (Alice: Madness Returns) was released in 2011, and in 2013 Zone Horror has reported that McGee is ready to create the third game about Alice. The who, however, still there.
But it is time for this truck to roll. In his blog, McGee said the good news for fans: the third phase started. While we are talking exclusively about the preliminary stage, i.e. on the development of the business model, initial design and art. When all this is ready, the materials will go to Electronic Arts, where the fate of the game should finally be clarified.
The third part is already working title – Alice: Asylum. McGee hopes that the fan community actively show themselves and they understand the potential publisher how much the game forward. Interestingly, in 2013 he also requested to raise the noise in the Network, only then it was about collecting funds for the production through the service Kickstarter. McGee did not rule out the option that will buy the rights to Alice from EA, and, so to speak, probing the ground about third-party support. Apparently, as it didn’t happen. Will see what happens this time.
