Volunteers launched a 26-meter flag whose length is equal to the number of years of Ukraine’s Independence.
Today in Odessa on the Primorsky Boulevard started “Vyshivankovy festival”.
At the opening of the festival over the potemkinsky ladder raised 26-meter flag of Ukraine. Its length is equal to the number of years of independence of Ukraine, and every year increases by one meter.
The head of the organizing Committee “Vyshivankovy festival” Natalia Majorova told “Duma” that the main purpose of the event is to once again remind that Odessa is Ukraine.
“It’s bright and warm action. And it is such an event when so many citizens of Odessa and guests of our city come and join to Ukrainian culture and unite our country, unite its citizens and strengthen our belief in an independent and prosperous state”, — said Natalia Majorova.
