Porsche presented the Panamera station wagon

Porsche unveiled the production version of the Panamera Sport Turismo.

Porsche officially unveiled the Panamera Sport Turismo station wagon, the first public display will take place at the motor show in Geneva. Pre-production version of the model was presented in 2012 at the Paris motor show.

The novelty is built on the basis of the Panamera’s second generation. Overall length Sport Turismo is 5049 mm width 1937 mm, and height — 1428 mm. The wheelbase of the model is 2950 mm. Thus, the new product is identical in size to the basic version of the model. Differs only in the height — universal five millimeters higher.

Luggage capacity the Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo is 520 litres (to 425 litres for the hybrid version) with raised backrests of the second row seats. That’s 20 litres more compared to the usual “Panamera” the second generation. When you lowered the rear seats volume increases to 1,390 liters (up to 1295 litres in the hybrid version).

Landing formula Panamera Sport Turismo Porsche is referred to as 4+1. The automaker also noted that the novelty is the first “Panamera” with three seats in the back. In this way, customers can order a version with two individual seats in the second row.

Universal equipped with an active spoiler on the top edge of the boot lid. Speeds of up to 170 kilometers per hour it goes down to seven degrees, reducing drag. At speeds above 170 miles per hour the opposite wing rises one degree. When activated modes, Sport and Sport Plus spoiler extends upwards at a speed of 90 kilometers per hour.

The wing is also used to reduce wind noise. When you open the hatch the wing rises up to 26 degrees at a speed of 90 kilometers per hour, which reduces the amount of penetrating into the interior of the noise.

At the time of commencement of sales of the station wagon Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo will be offered in five versions: the Panamera Sport Turismo 4 (330 horsepower) 4 Panamera E-Hybrid, Sport Turismo (462 HP), the Panamera 4S Sport Turismo (440 HP), Diesel 4S Panamera Sport Turismo (422 horsepower) and Turbo Panamera Sport Turismo (550 horsepower).

Sales model in Germany will begin in early October. The cost of the basic version of the wagon will amount to 97 thousand Euro 557.
