The coupe received a racing livery and the shape of wheels in the style of the original cars, as well as a massive rear wing, designed in the spirit of racing hybrid 919 Hybrid LMP1.

The basis of the modern Porsche 935/78 formed the chassis of the supercar 911 GT2 RS and the body from carbon fiber reinforced plastic. The weight of the vehicle amounted to 1379 pounds. The model was equipped with a 3.8-liter six-cylinder twin-turbo boxer engine, an outstanding 700 horsepower. The engine is paired with seven-speed robotized gearbox with two clutches. Modern Porsche 935/78 forbidden to ride on public roads – the car is only for track. The supercar is equipped with a system of dynamic stabilization, conditioning and recording system telemetry.

Porsche will produce only 77 such cars.
