This is the premiere, maybe not the most important.
But one of the most stylish. At the motor show in Frankfurt, Porsche presented the 911 GT3 with the package Touring Package.
It will be offered exclusively with a manual 6-speed transmission and a fixed rear wing will be equipped with an adjustable rear spoiler, as on the 911 Carrera. Anyway. The long name of Porsche 911 GT3 Touring Package actually hides a race car, which is made up of public roads. Borrowed from the track models 4-liter naturally aspirated engine develops 500 HP and provides a torque of 460 nm. At the optimum shifting 911 GT3 with the Touring Package option transfer any first “hundred” for 3,9 seconds, and its top speed is 316 km/h.
The name of the option Touring Package recalls equipment variant 911 Carrera RS 1973 model year. Even then, the key role was played minimalistic design 911 classic elements of interior design. But the equipment will be maximized.
Outwardly from the standard 911 GT3 version Touring Package will not differ too much. So, the front optics will not be shaded, and when viewed from the side draw attention to yourself forged alloy wheels with Central locking. On the front axle installed tire dimensions 245/35 ZR 20 wheels 9J x 20, rear tyres 305/30 ZR 20 on the rims 12J x 20. And in the back of the spoiler with a special aerodynamic element (gurney flap), painted in body color.
Also already in the basic version there is the Porsche Track Precision app App as standard. It allows the driver to display and analyse on smartphone detailed parameters of each race on a racing track.
