The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko 16-17 may 2017 will make the first in the history of bilateral relations state visit to the Republic of Malta.
According to the press service of the President of Ukraine, during his visit to Malta, which currently holds the EU presidency, scheduled meetings Poroshenko with the President and Prime Minister of Malta, as well as the speaker of the house of representatives of the Parliament of the Republic of Malta.
It is also expected to sign several bilateral documents that will facilitate the intensification of cooperation between Ukraine and Malta in various fields.
Recall that Poroshenko was on a working visit to Malta at the end of March 2017, during which the President held a meeting with head of the European Council Donald Tusk and German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
Then Poroshenko was in Malta at the invitation of the President of the European people’s party (EPP) Joseph Share.
