President Petro Poroshenko said that during the preparation of the draft law on the introduction of quotas on Ukrainian television took into account the interests of all, including neuroinvasion.
Today the Verkhovna Rada adopted the draft law on the linguistic quotas for television. A view of the organization of the national category of the broadcast will be broadcast in the Ukrainian language at least 75 percent per day, and regional and local categories – 50 percent.
“Guaranteed the rights of neuroinvasion. At the level of regional and local channels from Russian and other languages, recorded 40 percent of the ether. Took care of the Crimean Tatar. Consequently, the Ukrainian language on Ukrainian TV! PS: all understood that the law will sign?”, – he wrote in Facebook.
Poroshenko stressed that several times publicly to the attention of the owners and managers of channels at an unacceptably low percentage of the Ukrainian language.
“Some 15 percent! Gentlemen, the name of the country remember?! Called on the industry to solve this problem in the manner of self – organization have not heard. Well, that settles the law,” – said the President.
