The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko will pay a working visit to Turkey, where he will meet with his counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan. As the press service of the Ukrainian President’s visit scheduled for November 3-4.
So, 3 November, Istanbul will host the seventh meeting of the Strategic Council of high level under the leadership of the presidents of the two countries.
“The agenda of the event provides discussion of the key issues of the bilateral political dialogue, the current state and prospects of Ukrainian-Turkish cooperation in trade-economic, scientific-technical, military-industrial, energy, transport, cultural, humanitarian, educational and tourism sectors”, – the press-service of the President.

In addition, the Ukrainian President will take part in opening a memorial plaque on the building, which between 1919 and 1922 and housed the diplomatic mission of the UNR. Also planned is a visit of Istanbul University, where a Department of Ukrainian language and literature, and the opening of the exhibition of archival documents dedicated to the centenary of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
In addition, the President will visit Antalya, where he will participate in the inauguration ceremony of the Consulate of Ukraine and cultural center of the Ukrainian house.
