The President returned the law to Parliament for reconsideration.
President Petro Poroshenko has vetoed the law authorizing the provision of private detective services.
This is evidenced by the data in the corresponding page of the bill on the website of the Verkhovna Rada.
In the proposals to the law Poroshenko noted that the list of permitted types of private detective services formed without consideration of requirements of the legislation.
It is noted that a permit detectives to conduct foreign surveillance in open areas in public places and transport not mapped to the statutory prohibition of detectives to carry out operational-search activities, which are assigned to the exclusive competence of the operational units.
Poroshenko decided to return the law for reconsideration and proposes to harmonize its regulations with the base legislation.
