Poroshenko urged the UN security Council to impose peacekeepers to the Donbass

The peacekeepers will help restore the sovereignty of Ukraine, said the President.

The UN peacekeeping mission will help resolve the conflict in the Donbass.

On Wednesday, September 20, the President said Petro Poroshenko, speaking at a meeting of the UN security Council in new York.

“The peacekeeping operation will allow to restore justice, not just to cement the occupation. I believe that justice will be the restoration of Ukraine’s sovereignty on its territory, maintain control over Ukraine their freedom,” – said Poroshenko.

The President also said, the sooner the issue is resolved with a peacekeeping mission, the better.
