The Ukrainian Chapter participated in the testing of the boat UMS-1000.
The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko took part in sea trials of the boat UMS-1000 during his visit to Mariupol on the occasion of the marine corps. About it reports a press-service of the head of state.
“The commander in chief together with chief of the General staff Viktor Muzhenko, the Chairman of the State border service Peter Chicalim, Deputy head of AP Valery Kondratyuk and Advisor to the President Viktor Nazarenko boarded the boat and made access to the open sea”, – stated in the message.
In particular, the President was shown samples of equipment and weapons to the personnel of the marine protection special purpose of the state border service, as well as equipment and diving equipment.
Recall that today, November 16, on the occasion of the marine corps Peter Poroshenko, speaking in Mariupol before the naval forces of Ukraine. During his speech he honored the memory of victims minute of silence. He also said that Ukraine 372 marine awarded the state awards.
