Petro Poroshenko said that the European Union will extend sanctions against Russia. He stated this during a joint press conference with European Council head Donald Tusk.
“Evidence that sanctions will be extended, is something we are happy today”, – quotes Poroshenko Interfax-Ukraine.
The President also noted the importance of coordination with its Western partners on the issue of sanctions against Russia.
“As you know, the United States imposed sanctions and confirmed that these sanctions remain in effect until full implementation of the Minsk agreements” – said Poroshenko.
