In the summer of 2016 Poroshenko has signed the law on the judicial system and status of judges, which provides for the establishment of a Higher anti-corruption court.
President Petro Poroshenko supported the idea of creating an anti-corruption court: the case for the Verkhovna Rada, which should address this issue. This is stated in the answer a press-services of Bank on request of the Ukrainian truth.
“The issue of creating an anti-corruption court is a very important stage of judicial reform in Ukraine, which leads to the creation of a model of the functioning of the judiciary, which would satisfy public demand for a fair trial,” write from the AP.
According to the Bank, back in July of last year the President signed a new draft law on judicial system and status of judges, which will implement the Parliament adopted changes in the Constitution in terms of justice. The document provides for the establishment of a Higher anti-corruption court.
“Now the Verkhovna Rada a bill on anti-corruption courts,” – said in the administration.
Director of the NABU Artem Sytnik says that without the creation of an anti-corruption court cases of big corruption by top officials, can be considered 10 years.
