To allocate quotas between higher education institutions will be the Cabinet.
President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has signed a law that provides quotas for admission to universities applicants who live in the occupied territories.
About it reports a press-service of the head of state on Saturday, June 3.
The law provides that for persons with place of residence which is the temporarily occupied territory and which have received the document of secondary education, admission to one of the higher educational institutions located on the territory of Zaporizhzhya, Mykolaiv, Odesa and Kherson regions, on a competitive basis by results of entrance examinations within the prescribed quota of admission to higher educational institutions of Ukraine.
According to the document, the quota for the admission of persons, by place of residence which is the temporarily occupied territory, in higher educational institutions located on the territory of Zaporizhzhya, Mykolaiv, Odesa and Kherson regions, is set in the amount of 1 thousand places of the state order.
To allocate quotas between the higher education institutions will be the Cabinet.
The law shall enter into force on the day following the day of its publication, and entered into force after a month from the date of entry into force.
