Poroshenko said he wants a quick inauguration

He noted that the Parliament should find a solution that would suit everyone.

The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said that he is interested in the speedy inauguration of newly elected Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky.

“Today the ball is on the field of Parliament. I’m interested in the fact that the Parliament decided on the date of the inauguration, and I would only support the early accession of Mr. Zelensky’s office,” – said Poroshenko.

Answering the question about the possible dissolution of Parliament and early parliamentary elections, Poroshenko noted that “everything should be in accordance with the constitutional and legislative procedures”.

He noted that the Parliament should find a solution that would suit everyone and “secured the defence of democracy and constitutional process.”
