President Petro Poroshenko said that the decision to block Russian sites in Ukraine will be reconsidered after the cessation of the Russian aggression.
He said this in Strasbourg after the signing ceremony of a visa-free regime for Ukraine.
“I can say that immediately after the cessation of Russian aggression against Ukraine, immediately when the last Russian soldier leaves a sovereign and independent Ukraine, we are ready to revise this decision”, – said Poroshenko.
In a speech in the EU, he also said that the decision to ban was taken because of the hybrid war informvoysk Russia.
“It is important for Russians part of this war is a hybrid war which is carried out information forces of the Russian Federation. Huge propaganda budgets are released to destabilize the situation within Ukraine and in Europe”, – he said.
The President reiterated that it has caused some inconvenience, but time has shown that the government did the right thing.
“Now it is impossible to distinguish cyber security from Russian interference in the democratic processes in the democratic world and advocacy efforts that Russia is trying to send to us and Europe, and to intervene in our space, including through social networks”, he added.
