A powerful hacker attack started from Ukraine.
President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said about availability of data, confirming the involvement of the Russian Federation to the organization of cyber attacks on the infrastructure of the country in June.
In particular, this Poroshenko said at a joint press conference with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg:
“Cyber attacks are a key element of a hybrid war, and we have evidence that the recent cyber attack was organised by the Russian Federation”, – quotes Poroshenko Interfax-Ukraine.
On 27 June, the Ukrainian companies were victims of massive cyber attacks, conducted with the help of the virus Petya.A.
Hacker attacks were aimed at objects of critical information infrastructure of power generating and power supplying companies, transportation facilities, the number of banking institutions and telecommunication companies. The virus attacked and the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
