Control over execution of the decree entrusted to Oleksandr Turchynov.
The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has signed a decree which enacts the decision of the Council of national security and defense Council (NSDC) of Ukraine from March 15 to suspend the movement of goods across the line of clashes in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions.
“Control over the implementation of the decision of the NSDC of Ukraine, enacted by this decree, to entrust the Secretary of the national security Council and defense of Ukraine”, – stated in the decree, published on the website of the President.
The document came into force from the date of its publication.
According to the decision of the Council, which is annexed to this decree, it is proposed to temporarily “stop the movement of goods across the line of clashes in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions.”
The interior Ministry, the national police, the national guard, the State fiscal service of Ukraine with participation of the SBU was instructed to immediately ensure the implementation of this decision, stopping the movement of goods across the line of clashes within the Donetsk and Luhansk regions by railway and automobile communication.
Also invited the leadership of the anti-terrorist operation “to take comprehensive measures to neutralize the possible armed provocations”.
