Ticket prices in the EU should be reduced, said the President.
Ticket prices in member countries of the European Union should be reduced.
This was during a press conference said the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.
“One of the important tasks to reduce the costs of travel (to the EU — ed.) for the majority of Ukrainians to the largest possible number of our citizens could travel to EU countries”, — said P. Poroshenko.
According to him, “Ukrzaliznytsya” establishing railway communication with the member countries of the EU.
“Our Ministry of transport and infrastructure launches on the Ukrainian market a range of low-cost airlines, which should provide the Ukrainians are relatively cheap and much more affordable air travel”, — said P. Poroshenko.
In addition, according to him, competition has forced to reduce the ticket prices and domestic airlines.
