President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko met with his American counterpart Donald trump.
This was announced by White house spokesman Sean Spicer on his Twitter on Tuesday evening, June 20.
“After meeting with the Vice President the President of Ukraine Poroshenko met with the President of the United States of America,” wrote Spicer.
He has published a photo, which Poroshenko is sitting next to a tramp, and on either side of the representatives of States, including Vice-President Mike Pence and the Minister of foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin.
After the meeting Poroshenko said that his meeting with trump was full and detailed.
“Held a full, detailed meeting with the President of the United States Donald trump. We received strong support from the US, support and respect for the sovereignty, territorial integrity, independence of our state”, – said Poroshenko.
Earlier today Poroshenko in Washington also met with the Minister of energy of the USA Rick Perry. The sides discussed the opportunities realization of joint projects in nuclear energy, the extraction of energy in Ukraine, as well as the possible supply of alternative fuels, particularly liquefied natural gas from the United States.
