President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko met with his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko in the United Arab Emirates. As reported by the Agency BelTA, during the meeting the presidents discussed bilateral trade and political cooperation.
“In trade-economic terms we are working very actively. Our trade already, despite all sorts of challenges and obstacles, made more than $ 3 billion, maybe $ 3.5 billion will be today. But we have a very good opportunity to expand cooperation due to the interaction of regions”, – said Lukashenko.
He also noted that the political interaction between “no problems at all”. “We absolutely follow the course by which they agreed to go,” – said Lukashenko.
In turn, Poroshenko noted the active work on the implementation of earlier agreements, starting from the issues of demarcation and ending trade and economic cooperation.
“I hold this question on control”, – said the Ukrainian President.
He expressed satisfaction with the fact that the parties are expanding cooperation in various fields, including the economy and social sphere.
Note, the Belarusian President arrived to UAE on a working visit. Also in the Emirates, November 1-2, is Petro Poroshenko.
To UAE Poroshenko visited Saudi Arabia, where he signed a number of documents between the two countries on cooperation in the field of training of diplomatic personnel, investment cooperation in agriculture, as well as in the information sphere.
