The sides once again confirmed their commitment to the implementation of the Minsk agreements in the sphere of security and political aspects of the settlement. They also welcomed the agreement on the resumption of the Easter truce, reached during the meeting of the Contact group on 29 March, and stressed the importance of its strict observance.
“The leaders of “Norman Quartet” urged to intensify work on solving the problem of the exchange of detained persons by the formula “all for all”. But also expressed regret in connection with the threats against the Special monitoring mission of OSCE”, – stated in the message.
The interlocutors thanked the French President Hollande for his efforts in the “Normandy format” and expressed the hope that this format will continue after the presidential elections in the country.
